Design Consultation and Client Meeting
Our experienced Landscape Architect is critical in the design process, and will meet with you onsite to discuss needs, function and the unique aesthetics of the space. The initial step will help us review the scope of the project to determine if we are the right fit for your needs.
Conceptual Design
At Pure Landscape in Edmonton, Alberta, we start by creating preliminary concepts highlighting different design forms for the client, which incorporate the needs and wishes discussed in the consultation. We will review pros and cons of the design and form, as well as flow, function and aesthetics of the space we are creating. At this stage, we will also discuss material selections and options, cost variances and revise as required to take us into our next stage of building your new greenspace.
Modeling in 3D and Cost Estimation
After the final schematics and plans have been finalized, and a schedule estimate approved for the project (or phases of implementation), the modeling process begins. For large projects, a state-of-the-art three-dimensional (3D) model will be prepared with photo realistic renderings to help clients walk through their space and see all elements of the design. We will also discuss phasing and construction technique to facilitate a seamless construction, for projects that require multiple steps of implementation.
Construction
Our landscape team and expert Landscape Architect get to work, integrating natural elements that improve the aesthetic and energy of your exterior (or interior commercial) green space. As AutoCAD™ is used in the design process, we have the ability to create accurate renderings and plans that ensure the design is followed to perfection. We have an unprecedented eye for detail. We focus not only on creating a beautiful yard, but being mindful of neighbors, and keep construction materials consolidated and roads and paths cleaned daily for public safety.
Project Completion
Upon completion of the landscape design, we will arrange a walk through with the owners to make sure that all the elements of the yard meet the expectations of the owner. We will also instruct the client on the use of irrigation controllers and automated lighting systems for hassle free use. For clients that prefer to have lighting and irrigation systems professionally managed or automated, we also provide a remote monitoring service.
Maintenance
We will discuss maintenance of your yard and general care for your perennial plants, trees and shrubs; remember to sign up for our newsletter for seasonal maintenance tips and advice. Additional services are available to provide reminders on a maintenance schedule for irrigation blowouts and other routine requirements.
