About Jeff Fenske LAT BLA
It’s not hard to imagine that a professional Landscape Architect like Jeff Fenske, began as a kid who loved playing outside and in the dirt. In fact, his parents would tell you that the hardest part about raising Jeff was getting him to come inside for dinner.
At the age of 14, Jeff Fenske began his first job outside of Edmonton, and he worked after school on a local golf course. His time there taught him the discipline of landscape maintenance for a prestigious resort, and his fascination with pursuing a career in landscape design was born.
Jeff studied at Olds College to acquire his diploma in Ornamental Horticulture for Turf Management, followed by a second diploma in Turf Management with Honors. After completing the programs and with much encouragement from mentors and professors who saw both his drive and natural design talent, Jeff pursued his N.A.I.T. to achieve his credentials in Landscape Architecture.
Jeff Fenske earned a full academic scholarship to Carleton University where he studied Industrial Design, and worked as a teacher’s assistant for the faculty. He also worked part-time under the supervision of a Landscape Architect, where he honed spatial design, ideation and construction techniques. Following Carleton University, Jeff worked at Stantec for five years creating and designing industrial and commercial builds, and residential communities.
When Jeff is not busy creating landscape designs for his clients, he is at home enjoying time with his beautiful wife, son and daughter. And probably sitting somewhere outside, enjoying the view.
